Ultimate GuardUltimate Guard is a German card accessory manufacturer whose Katana line is its best known sleeve range. Katana sleeves are published at 66 × 91 mm in standard size and 62 × 89 mm in Japanese size. Those two measurements are what decide which cards any sleeve fits.Dragon ShieldDragon Shield is a card accessory brand best known for its sleeves and Card Codex binders. Two of its published figures are unusually useful: Perfect Fit Thick inner sleeves are stated at 63 × 88 mm, polypropylene, 100 microns, and the Card Codex Zipster binder is rated at 360 cards single-sleeved but 324 double-sleeved.BCWBCW is a US manufacturer of card storage and protection supplies whose listings are unusually specific about materials and capacities. Two published facts from its range matter more than any product recommendation: its standard toploader is rigid PVC, and its binder pages are sold in both polypropylene and vinyl. Vinyl is PVC.Ultra ProUltra Pro is a Californian accessory maker, founded in 1952, and the one manufacturer on this site that publishes the thickness of every sleeve it sells, in microns per side. Its sleeves and PRO-Binders are stated as acid-free and non-PVC; its toploaders are stated as rigid PVC. Both statements are on its own pages, and the second is the one to read before choosing a long-term holder.Vault XVault X is a British accessory maker, started in 2017 in Poole, whose Exo-Tec zip binders carry an unusually complete published specification: capacity, page count, internal pocket size, and outer dimensions to the millimetre. Every pocket in the range measures 68 × 97 mm. The one thing the listings do not say is which polymer the pages are made from.GamegenicGamegenic is a German accessory maker, Gamegenic GmbH of Essen, founded in 2019 and part of the Asmodee Group. It publishes something almost no other sleeve maker does: both the sleeve’s own size and the largest card that sleeve accepts, in millimetres, on every line it sells. Sleeves, pages and albums are stated as polypropylene, acid-free and no PVC. The toploader is the exception, and its material field reads PVC.Cardboard GoldCardboard Gold makes the Card Saver, the semi-rigid holder PSA names in its grading submission guidance. The company has been family-owned by its founder since 1985 and states it has sold more than 600 million Card Savers since 1987. The notable thing about what it publishes is an absence: the Card Saver 1, the most widely used semi-rigid holder in the hobby, has no published dimensions and no named plastic anywhere on the company’s own site.KMCKMC is a Japanese sleeve maker whose Card Barrier brand dates to March 1997. It publishes a thickness for every sleeve it sells, in millimetres and per face, which makes its range directly comparable with the makers that quote microns. It states that its products are made in Japan. It does not name the plastic any of them is made from, anywhere on its own site or in its own catalogue.
